Valley Aquatic League by-laws state we use the current US Swimming rules with agreed upon exceptions. Teams come to mutual agreement on these exceptions each pre-season. Please recognize that the VAL summer recreational league rules do differ from USA Swimming rules in some areas. PDFs of the by-laws and rules can be found below.
We welcome all parents to the VAL Stroke & Turn Clinic at Los Gatos Swim & Racquet Club on May 17, 2025, 8:00am – 10:00am. After training, please volunteer as a Stroke and Turn judge at our swim meets. Each team should provide 2 stroke and turn judges at each meet.
We also welcome interested parties to learn our Meet Manager software at the VAL Computer Training at Westgate Cabana Club on May 28, 2025, 6:00pm. Please let a committee member know if you are interested you will need access to our license. We cannot run meets without this very important skill set.
